Fire Pit

The fire pit is fabricated from mostly purchased materials. The thick dish is regular steel which will rust but will last for decades. I like to elevate them off of the ground so the fire is closer to you when seated and as a bonus you can put your feet underneath the legs for warmth. I make the legs from stainless steel so that rust does not bleed on to a concrete or stone surface in wet weather. A shelf underneath between the legs offers a place for keeping food or other items warm.
