Willow Ponds Foot Bridge

I build custom pieces mostly from repurposed or found objects so when a group of residents in a neighborhood called Willow Ponds wanted a foot bridge leading to one of their green spaces I came up with this piece. The neighbors had old scrapped roller conveyors from a fruit packing warehouse and I used them for the bridge. I flipped them over and welded on grating leaving the rollers attached underneath. I then used some of the rollers to make the handrail upright pieces. I welded positive words on each of the handrail rollers so that when you walk across you can spin them for encouragement. Kids love them.
